You can take a look at this guide from Seeking Tech to see how you can resolve these issues with the portable wireless speaker.

How to fix Bluetooth connection issues with JBL PartyBox 110

In order to fix any Bluetooth connection problems you may have with the JBL PartyBox 110, you can try taking the following steps:

1. First off, you can try moving the source device (which could your smartphone tablet, and other products that support Bluetooth audio connection) closer to the speaker.

2. If you are using the speaker outdoors, then we recommend moving the source device as close as possible to your speaker as Bluetooth signals tend to get weaker in an open-air space.

3. You should also avoid any solid objects that may be blocking the line of sight between the source device and the PartyBox 110.

4. Other wireless devices may hinder the Bluetooth connection between the source device and the portable speaker. These devices include a Wi-Fi router, microwave, cordless phone and more.

So, if you are any of other devices using wireless communications, we recommend moving the source device and PartyBox 110 in another area.

5. If you are still experiencing Bluetooth connection issues, then you can try to pair the speaker again to your device.

In order to do so, you can take the following steps:

Press and hold the Bluetooth button on the speaker for at least 10 seconds.

On your source device, go to the Bluetooth menu and then forget the connection to the JBL PartyBox 110.

Next press the Bluetooth button on the speaker again.

On the Bluetooth menu of your source device, tap JBL PartyBox 110 to pair it.

If none of the aforementioned solutions help fix your Bluetooth problems, and your product is still covered under warranty, then you can try contacting JBL.

How to fix audio quality issues with JBL PartyBox 110

To fix audio quality issues with the PartyBox 110, you can try doing the following:

1. If your speaker is wet, try to let it completely air dry.

2. If your speaker is dusty, use a dry cloth to remove the dust buildup.

3. If you are using the Bass Boost feature, you can try adjusting it to Level 1, Level 2 or Off.

If the light on the button is a dim white than it indicates that you are using Level 1 of Bass Boost. A solid bright light indicates that you are on Level 2. Finally, if there isn’t any light at all, then it means that this feature is currently disabled.

4. If you are using a Bluetooth connection, then make sure you follow the first guide in this article as the audio quality could be related to having a weak Bluetooth signal.

5. If you are using an AUX input, then you can try using another AUX cable.

6. You can also try playing another audio file on your source device.

7. Moreover, you can try using another source device as the audio quality issues may not be related to your speaker at all.

We don’t recommend trying to speed up this process by using a heating source such as hair blow dryer as it may cause damages to your speaker.

7. After waiting until your speaker is dry again, you may want to try to turn it back on to see if it is still functioning normally.

3. After plugging the portable speaker into the power outlet, you should be able to turn it on by pressing the power button.

You can then try to connect the speaker with your desired device once again.

If you are having issues with the microphone of the JBL PartyBox On-The-Go, you can try doing the following:

First off, make sure that the microphone is turned on and still has sufficient battery life remaining. If the battery level is low, then we recommend replacing the batteries.

You can also try pairing the mic to the speaker again. To do so, turn off both devices. Afterwards, turn on the speaker. Place the microphone on top of the speaker and then turn the mic on. The two devices should be paired and connected within 3 minutes.

  • Follow the instructions from the manufacture of the Bluetooth audio device to factory reset it.
  • Go to System Settings on your Switch system.
  • Scroll down and then select Bluetooth Audio on the left side of the System Settings menu.
  • Next, select your Bluetooth audio device on the right side of the same screen.
  • In the next screen, select Remove Device.
  • In the pop-up notification, select Remove Device again.
  • Follow the instructions from the manufacture’s Bluetooth audio device to set the device to pairing mode.
  • On the Nintendo Switch system, you should be back in the Bluetooth Audio menu. Here, you need to select Pair Device.
  • In the Pair Bluetooth Audio Device menu, select your device.
  • In the pop-up notification, select OK.

4. You can also try updating the firmware of your Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch Lite or Nintendo Switch OLED.

You can do so by taking the following steps:

  • From the Home menu, select System Settings.
  • Inside the System Settings menu, scroll down on the left column and then select System.
  • On the right side in the same screen, select System Update.

5. If the Bluetooth audio latency issue is only happening when you play one specific game, then you can try closing the game and then opening it again.

You can also try updating the game by taking the following steps:

  • From the Home menu, navigate to the problematic game.
  • With the game highlighted, press either the + button or – button.
  • Select Software Update from the left column in the next screen.
  • On the right side of the same screen, select Via the Internet.

6. Furthermore, you can try repositioning the Bluetooth audio device to your Switch, Switch Lite or Switch OLED system.

You should try to move connected Bluetooth audio device as close as possible to the game system.

You should also make sure that there are no solid objects that may block the direct line of sight in between the audio device and your Switch.

Other wireless devices may also interrupt Bluetooth connection between the audio device and the system. Therefore, you should make sure you aren’t near any Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and any other wireless devices.

7. If none of the aforementioned potential solutions help resolve the Bluetooth audio delay and lag issues, then we recommend using a wired connection.

A wired connection will generally have less latency when compared to a Bluetooth connection.

So, if you have earphones, headsets, headphones or speakers with an audio cable, you can try connecting it to the audio jack of your Switch system. You should experience less delay and lag by doing so.
