If you can’t use the home or help menus, then you would need to force a factory reset for your Sony A80K, A90K, A95K, X80K, X85K, X90K, X95K or Z9K. In order to do so, you need to press the following steps:

1. Turn off your television set if you haven’t done so already.

2. Unplug the TV’s power cord from the power outlet.

3. Press and hold the power and volume down buttons located on your television. If you TV only has a power button, then you only need to hold that down.

4. While holding the buttons, plug the TV back into the power outlet.

5. Keep holding the buttons until you see a white light coming from the LED indicator.

6. The television will start the factory data resetting process, which will take several minutes. During this process, it will turn itself on and off two times.

Once you initiated the factory reset using either of the two aforementioned methods, you then need to wait until the TV is done with the process. Once it is completed, it will let you know.

Afterwards, you need to go through the initial set up process if you want to use your A80K, A90K, A95K, X80K, X85K, X90K, X95K or Z9K again.
