1. The first step we recommend taking is to press the home button on the remote of your TV.

If the home menu opens up, then the freezing issue may not be related to your television set at all. Instead, it may be related to the device that is connected to your A80K, A90K, A95K, X80K, X85K, X90K, X95K or Z9K.

If you are experiencing issues with the connected device, you can try restarting it, updating its firmware or factory resetting it.

2. If you are sure that the crashing or freezing issues are isolated to your TV, then you can try pressing and holding the power button for approximately 5 seconds. Afterwards, let go of the power button and the TV should reboot.

If your television set remains turned off, then you can press the power button on your remote again to turn it back on.

3. If the TV isn’t responding to your remote presses, then you can turn it off by pressing the power button located directly on the television set.

4. If the power buttons aren’t working on the remote and TV, then you need to unplug its power cord from the power outlet. Afterwards, we recommend waiting for at least 2 minutes before you plug the television back in and then turn it back on.
