Using an HDMI extension cable, HDMI passthrough device and/or HDMI splitter may make some features such as Auto Low Latency Mode incompatible.

5. You can try disconnecting the HDMI cable from your PS5 and the screen. Afterwards, reconnect the video cable again and then try to turn on ALLM.

6. If you have another HDMI cable available, then you can try using a new cable to see if you are able to activate the PS5’s low latency mode.

In order to do so, you can take the following steps:

  • Turn off your PS5.
  • Unplug the game console from the power outlet.
  • Turn off your television set or monitor.
  • Unplug the screen from the power outlet.
  • Wait for a few minutes.
  • Plug the console and the screen back into the power outlet.
  • Turn on the console and screen.
  • Try to enable ALLM on your PS5.

8. Rebuilding the system or clearing its cache may also help.

To find out how you can do both of these actions, you can take a look at this article.

9. It is also a good idea to keep the firmware of your PlayStation 5 or PlayStation 5 Digital Edition system updated to the latest version.

10. Furthermore, make sure that you also update the firmware of your television set or monitor as a new release may help resolve the compatibility issues with the Auto Low Latency Mode of the PS5.

To update the software version of your screen, make sure you look in its settings menu or check out its user manual.

What to do if you are getting a blank screen trying to stream PS3 games on PS5

Although the PlayStation 5 does not support PlayStation 3 games in terms of native backwards compatibility, you can still play a curated list of PS3 titles via cloud streaming.

If you are getting a blank screen when doing so, then you can check out this troubleshooting article from Seeking Tech to see how you can fix this issue.

1. If you are seeing a dark, black or blank screen when starting a stream for a PlayStation 3 game on your PS5 or PS5 Digital Edition system, then we recommend that you wait for several minutes to see if something will eventually show up.

It can take a few minutes for your console to connect to the cloud streaming server. Furthermore, it can also take a while for the game to load into the main menu.

Keep in mind that the PS3 game you are streaming is running on a remote PlayStation 3 console. Therefore, it will take more time to boot when compared to playing a PS4 or PS5 game running natively on the PlayStation 5.

2. If you are still getting a blank screen after waiting for several minutes after launching the game, or you are getting a blank screen during the middle of a streaming session, then you can try restarting the game.

In order to do so, you need to take the following steps:

  • Start by pressing the PS button on your DualSense in order to launch the quick menu.
  • Once you get to the quick menu, select the Now Streaming card.
  • In the expanded Now Streaming card menu, you need to select Show/Hide PS3 Menu.
  • After opening the XMB menu for the remote PS3 console, you then need to select Saved Data Utility (PS3).
  • When asked if you want to quit the game, select Yes.
  • In the next screen, press the circle button on your DualSense.
  • When asked if you want to return to the game, select Yes.
  • The game will then reboot.

3. If you are still seeing a blank screen after rebooting the PS3 game on your PlayStation 5, then you can try restarting the stream by doing the following:

  • To start off, press and hold the PS button to bring up the home menu of your PS5 console.
  • Once you are inside of the home menu, hover over the PS3 game you are currently playing and the press the Options button on the controller.
  • In the small menu that pops up, select the Close Game option.
  • After closing the game, re-open it to see if you will run into a blank screen again.

4. There is a possibility that the cloud stream servers for PS3 games could be overloaded at the moment, causing connection and/or loading issues.

In this case, you can try to stream the game at another time when the servers are less busy.

How to prevent disconnections when streaming PS3 games on PS5

With the new PlayStation Plus Premium subscription, you are able to stream select PS3 games on your PlayStation 5 or PlayStation 5 Digital Edition console.

When streaming, however, you have experience disconnections that will kick you out of your current session. To see how you can prevent this from occurring, you can take a look at this troubleshooting article at Seeking Tech.

1. The first step we recommend taking is to make sure you meet the minimum internet connection speed requirements of streaming a PS3 game on your PS5.

Sony recommends that you have at least 5 Mbps for both the download speed and upload speed.

2. If you are using Wi-Fi, then we recommend that you use a wired connection instead as it should be faster and more stable. As a result, you should get less disconnections when streaming.

3. If you are limited to only using Wi-Fi, then you can try switching your Wi-Fi frequency to see if doing so will help with fixing the disconnects.

To see how you can change the Wi-Fi frequency on your PlayStation 5 or PlayStation 5 Digital Edition system, you can check out this guide.

4. To test your current internet connection on the PlayStation 5, you can take the following steps:

  • Go to Settings from the home menu.
  • From the Settings screen, head into Network.
  • After getting inside the Network menu, you need to select Connection Status on the left column and then Test Internet Connection on the right side of the same screen.
  • Finally, select Start Test.
  • Once the test has ended, you will see the testing results of your download and upload speeds. To avoid disconnects, make sure that the speeds are way above the aforementioned 5 Mbps minimum.

5. Avoid downloading or streaming other content on your PS5, or other devices that are on the same home network, when you are streaming a PS3 game. Otherwise, there may not be enough bandwidth to prevent the disconnects.

6. The Wi-Fi connection between your router and PS5 may be weakened due to other wireless devices nearby. Physical objects such as walls may also make the signal weaker.

In this case, you can try moving the router and console closer together. You can also try turning off any nearby wireless devices.

7. It is important to note that the PS3 cloud streaming server will automatically disconnect you if it detects that you have been idle for 10 minutes. This is done in order to free up server bandwidth for other players trying to stream.

To prevent this from happening, you need to press any button within the 10-minute period. Afterwards, the timer will reset.

8. Sometimes the disconnection issues may be related to the PlayStation Network servers. To check the current status of the servers, you can take a look at the official PlayStation website site.

9. There may be times where the streaming servers are overloaded due to heavy traffic. In this case, you can try streaming a PS3 game on your PlayStation 5 at another time when there is less load on the servers to see if the disconnects go away.

If possible, you should put the screen on a soft surface, such as a bed, when cleaning.

5. Once you are done wiping the gaming monitor, we recommend that you let it sit until it complete dries up at room temperature.

To speed up the drying process for the AW3423DW, you can put a fan next to so that you can get better air circulation.

You should avoid using any heat source, such as a hair blow dryer, as doing so could end up causing damage to the gaming monitor.

1. The first step you can take is to make sure that the HDMI cable is securely connected to the HDMI ports of the media player and television set.

For best compatibility, make sure you are using the HDMI cable that came with the 2022 Roku Ultra.

You should also make sure that the cable hasn’t been damaged. If it is, then you can try using a different one.

2. There is also a possibility that your television set, or computer monitor, could be displaying the wrong input or source.

In this case, you can try switching to a different input source and then wait for around 10 seconds to see if you can get a picture from your 2022 Roku Ultra.

3. If your TV have another HDMI port, then you can try plugging the media player into it to see if you can get something to show up on the screen.

4. You should also see if your television set or monitor is turned on. Furthermore, you can try connecting another media player to see if it works.
