Karma City Police: Achievement Guide and Mini Review

I recently got a chance to play through the PS4 version of Karma City Police on the PlayStation 5 Pro, thanks to a review copy provided by Ratalaika Games.

You can find my full play through, which should unlock all achievements, below:

You can also find my mini review of Karma City Police below:

Pros:

  • Unique police station setting.
  • Pinball combat.

Cons:

  • Major glitches on PlayStation consoles.

Overall:

Karma City Police is an adventure game that takes place inside a police station.

Although you are officially a police dispatcher, you will also need to run some errands. You will quickly learn that things aren’t what they seemed in the police station as there are a lot of political drama going on.

Outside of exploration, the game may occasionally put you in combat. The battles are rather unique as they play out like a pinball machine. Using paddles, you must hit the enemies enough times.

The mix of police setting with pinball combat makes Karma City Police a rather fun and unique experience.

Unfortunately, the PlayStation ports have some major problems. The PS5 version is broken as it will crash every time you pause during combat. When you reload your save, you will be put into a much earlier part of the game instead of when you actually created the save. So, you should avoid the PS5 version.

The PS4 version does not suffer from the same glitches as the PS5 version. With that said, two of the trophies are glitched on both PlayStation platforms.

If you are planning to play Karma City Police, then you should play the PS4 version over the PS5 version. If you care about achievements or trophies, then you can get the PC or Xbox version instead.
