Sony X77L VESA Mounting Pattern
On the backside of your X77L, you should be able to locate four screw holes. You need these to attach your TV to the mounting bracket.
You can find the measurements of the horizontal and vertical distances of these holes, which are referred to as the VESA Mounting Pattern, for each screen size below:
- 43” X77L: 200 mm x 200 mm
- 50” X77L: 200 mm x 200 mm
- 55” X77L: 300 mm x 300 mm
- 65” X77L: 300 mm x 300 mm
- 75” X77L: 300 mm x 300 mm
- 85” X77L: 400 mm x 400 mm
What wall mounts are compatible with the Sony X77L and X77CL?
When looking for a compatible wall mount for your X77L or X77CL, you should make sure that it has enough strength to hold up the television weight. The 43-inch, 50-inch, 55-inch and 65-inch models should be light enough for a vast majority of mounts. For the 75-inch and 85-inch versions, you need to look for stronger mounting brackets.
The wall mount must also fit the VESA Mounting Pattern, which is the four screw holes located on the back of the Sony TV. The 43-inch and 50-inch models use the same 200 mm x 200 mm pattern. The 55-icnh, 65-inch and 75-inch iterations use 300 mm x 300 mm while the 85-incher requires 400 mm x 400 mm.
