This video compares PSSR1 to PSSR2 when it comes to Spider-Man 2 on the PlayStation 5 Pro.
To activate PSSR2 for this title, enable the Enhance PSSR Image Quality setting on the system menus of the PS5 Pro console.
For this comparison, the Graphics Mode is set to Performance Pro with VRR set to Uncapped, and 120 Hz Display Mode set to Auto. Motion Blur, Film Grain, Chromatic Aberration and Depth of Field are all disabled.

While PSSR2 is slightly sharper than PSSR1, it is really hard to tell even if you pause and look closely. The advantage is clearer in the jungle scene with Kraven as the fur, facial hair, and vegetation appear sharper with PSSR2.
