This video compares PSSR1 to PSSR2 when it comes to Gran Turismo 7 on the PlayStation 5 Pro. The footage were taken from the replays of the game.
To activate PSSR2 for GT7, enable the Enhance PSSR Image Quality setting on the system menus of the PS5 Pro console.
For this comparison, the Graphics Priority for PlayStation Pro setting is set to Prioritize Ray Tracing/Resolution, 120 Hz output is disabled, and the Using PSSR on PlayStation 5 Pro setting is Enabled for both PSSR1 and PSSR2.

PSSR2 appears slightly sharper than PSSR1. You can tell by looking at distract text or signs.
In the NASCAR track, PSSR2 does a much better job at resolving crowds if you look at the fence. With PSSR1, the crowds behind the fence become a blurry mess.
