This video measures the frame rate of the PSSR1 and PSSR2 versions of Resident Evil 4 Remake running on the PlayStation 5 Pro. PSSR2 is enabled via the Enhance PSSR Image Quality toggle.
For this comparison, Visual/Action Priority has been set to Frame Rate, with the Hair Strands, Ray Tracing and High Frame Rate Mode settings all enabled. Lens Distortion and Depth of Field are disabled.
To measure the frame rate, the FPS counter of the LG B4 TV is used. To make the comparison as fair as possible, this video focuses on mainly cut scenes.

Outside of a few rare instances, PSSR2 is able to produce slightly more frames per second consistently when compared to PSSR1.
