How to find missing PlayStation Plus games on your PS5

When trying to find a PlayStation Plus game to download on your PlayStation 5 or PlayStation 5 Digital Edition, you may notice that it may be missing. To see how you can locate these titles, you can take a look at this troubleshooting article from Seeking Tech.

1. The first step you can try is to make sure that the current PlayStation Network account you are using is subscribed to PlayStation Plus.

You can check by going to the Home menu, which you can do by pressing and holding the PS button on your controller. In the Home menu, you can then hover over your avatar or profile picture located on the top right side. If you are a member of PlayStation Plus, then you should see a yellow plus sign next to your PSN user name.

2. If you are a member, then the next step you can take is to open the PlayStation Plus App, which you can do from the aforementioned Home menu.

Inside of the application, we recommend that you search for the game that you believed is missing from PlayStation Plus. This is because the PlayStation Plus App is a little bit cumbersome to navigate when it comes to listing all the games that are currently available on the subscription.

3. If you can’t find your PlayStation Plus game from the PlayStation Plus App, then you can try searching for it from the PlayStation Store App.

4. You can also try using the PlayStation Store website or the official PlayStation mobile app to see if you are able to locate your missing PlayStation Plus game from these outlets.

5. It is important to note that some PS Plus games will have expiration date. Once that date has passed, then it will be removed from the PlayStation Plus service.

To see how you can check when a game is leaving the subscription service on your PlayStation 5 or PlayStation 5 Digital Edition system, you can check out this article.

6. Some Plus may only be exclusive to specific regions.

For instance, you can only play PlayStation 3 games through streaming in certain countries; therefore, you won’t be able to locate PS3 games from the PS Plus if your region doesn’t have access to this feature.

7. If you previously added PlayStation Plus games to your library, then you should be able to find them by doing the following:

In the Home menu, scroll all the way to the right and then select Game Library.

From the Game Library menu, you then need press the R1 button on your controller to go to the Your Collection tab.

The Your Collection tab should show all the games that you have previously added to your library. To filter this list to only show PlayStation Plus games, you first need to select the down-pointing arrow icon with three horizontal lines located on the left side.

Inside the pop-up menu, you then need to select Source.

You should then select PlayStation Plus to filter the listing.
