The A80K, A90K, A95K, X80K, X85K, X90K, X95K and Z9K are the latest television models developed by Sony. If your TV set isn’t turning on, then you can take a look at this troubleshooting guide to see what actions you can take.
1. The first step we recommend taking is to try turning on your 2022 Sony TV by pressing the power button located directly on the television set.
If you are able to turn on your TV with its power button, then your issues may be related to the remote control instead.

2. If pressing the power button on the TV does not turn it on, then the next step you should take is to unplug the power cord from the power outlet. You then need to wait at least 2 minutes before plugging it back in again.
Afterwards, try turning on your television set by pressing the power button on the TV set as well as the power button on your remote.
3. If your TV still isn’t powering on, then you try using a different power outlet as the current one you are using could be defected.

5. You can also try factory resetting your Sony A80K, A90K, A95K, X80K, X85K, X90K, X95K or Z9K. In order to do so, we recommend that you take the following steps:
- Unplug the power cord of your television set from the power outlet.
- Press and hold the power button and volume down buttons located on the TV at the same time. If your TV only has a power button, then you only need to hold that button down.
- With the button(s) held down, plug the television set back into the power outlet.
- Keep holding the buttons down for 30 seconds. If your TV turns on, then it will automatically start the factor resetting process.
- During this process, make sure you avoid turning off or unplugging your television set.
If your A80K, A90K, A95K, X80K, X85K, X90K, X95K or Z9K television set is still not turning off after your try all of the aforementioned solutions, then you might want to contact Sony about sending in your TV to be repaired or replaced.
