I recently spent around a around playing The Tag-Along Obsession on the PlayStation 5 Pro. You can find a video of the playthrough, with no commentary below (review code provided by eastasiasoft):
Below, you can find my first impressions for The Tag-Along Obsession:
Pros:
- Creepy and unique atmosphere with a lot of jump scares.
- Great PS5 port. The game runs perfectly and controls feel natural.
Cons:
- May be a little too easy, at least from what I played, for those looking for a challenge.
Overall:
Based on what I played so far, The Tag-Along Obsession is an extremely polished first-person survivor horror game.
The console port to the PlayStation 5 is great, as the game runs smoothly at 60 fps without any hint of slowdown or hiccups. The controls felt perfect as well on the DualSense as I felt no input lag or dead zones.
The Tag-Along Obsession does add a small twist to the survivor horror formula with the use of talismen. However, I haven’t used any so far as there is only one ghost enemy that you can easily run away and hide from.
While I personally don’t mind the game being easy, more hardcore fans of the genre may find it disappointing.
