Metal Slug XX – Mission Complete & Speedster: Hard Trophy Guide

This Seeking Tech guide will show you how to get the “Mission Complete!” and “Speedster: Hard” trophies/achievements.

For “Mission Complete!”, you need to “finish the game on Difficulty HARD (Must play through all stages).”

For “Speedster: Hard” you need to “reach Rank 1st RECORD TIME on HARD difficulty. Must play through all stages without quitting game.”

To unlock both, you need to beat the game by playing in Hard Difficulty.

You should be able to get the Speedster: Hard trophy/achievement no matter what since the Clear Time tops out at 59 minutes and 59 seconds, so you will be tied for first even if your run lasts longer.

The first path is located close to the red “Danger” explosive barrel in the 1st Mission. Instead of heading to the right, drop down the pitfall in the middle of the screen to get to the hidden path.

The second and third hidden paths are right next to each other. On the fifth mission, playthrough the level normally until you get to the end of the second section. Instead of heading to the right, go left instead to find a hidden pathway.

The end of this pathway has a teleporter that you can take to the second hidden path. If you jump past this teleporter instead and head all the way to the left, then you should find the third hidden path.

How to unlock the Running and Gunning trophy in Metal Slug XX

This Seeking Tech guide will show you how to get the Running and Gunning trophy/achievement in Metal Slug XX.

You can find the requirements below:

“Clear the game within 45 minutes. Must play through all stages without quitting game.”

To make things easier, make sure you set the difficulty to Easy. You may want to also use Marco, since he can deal twice the amount of damage when using firearms. Afterwards, go through the stages as fast as you can. As long as you play aggressively, you should have plenty of time to spare.

To unlock this, you need to “trigger the 100 Morden Soldiers encounter in Mission 2.”

For the first step, head to the start of Stage 2.

When heading down the fight elevator, go right and then avoid attacking any of the Morden Soldiers. Instead, break the crate to the left without harming the soldier next to it.

You then need to break the crate that should appear next to the soldier on the siren.

If done correctly, the trophy should unlock.

You should then destroy the crate that should dropped to the left. A tiny chick should appear. Stay on the same screen but avoid making contact with the chick.

The chick should eventually grow into a chicken and lay eggs, which should unlock this trophy.

Another crate should then drop on the left side of the screen, next to the soldier with the siren. Break that crate to trigger a fight with the 100 Morden Soldiers.

You can then use the Punching Glove Special Action until this trophy is unlocked.

How to unlock the Super Argentine Backbreaker trophy in Metal Slug XX

To unlock this, you need to “throw 30 enemies with Clark’s Special Action.”

For the first step: make your way to the beginning of Stage 2 as Clark.

When heading down the first elevator, jump to the right and then ignore the soldiers. You should then destroy the right-most crate without hurting the nearby enemy.

Another crate should then drop on the left side of the screen, right next to the soldier with the siren. Break that crate in order to trigger a fight with the 100 Morden Soldiers.

You can then throw the enemies until the trophy in unlocked.

How to unlock the Not Half Bad trophy in Metal Slug XX

This Seeking Tech guide will show you how to get the “Not Half Bad!” trophy and achievement in Metal Slug XX.

This will unlock when you “defeat Rebel Gigant with at least half life (Mission 6’s boss).”

Keep in mind that the trophy will still count even if you died during the fight. You just need to make sure that your life bar is more than 50%. If it gets below that, then wait for the boss to kill you so that you can respawn at full health.
