Compatible audio files for LG A3, B3, C3, M3, G3 and Z3 media player

The 2023 LG OLED televisions can play select audio files. You can do so by selecting the Media Player App from the home menu of your OLED television set.

Some of the aforementioned codecs may require you to upgrade the firmware of your A3, B3, C3, M3, G3 or Z3 in order to be compatible. Furthermore, some of the 2023 LG OLEDs may not support the Dolby AC-4, DTS, DTS-HD or DTS:X codecs.

Subtitles

You can also add subtitles to the videos. In order to do so, the names of the video and subtitle files must be identical. Both of these files must be put in the same folder as well.

For the higher resolutions, make sure you set the HDMI Deep Color setting to 4K, which increases the HDMI bandwidth to 48.0 Gb/s. Otherwise, you may not be able to get your screen to display the content, especially at higher frequencies, if you set the same setting to Off.

Furthermore, you should also make sure that you are using a compatible HDMI cable as well as connecting a device that supports the same resolution, horizontal frequency and vertical frequency combinations.
