What is Variable Refresh Rate?

Variable Refresh Rate is designed for videogames that are unable to run at a consistent frame. Without VRR, these games may end up suffering from stuttering and/or screen tearing.

How does Variable Refresh Rate work on PS5?

When enabled, Variable Refresh Rate will help games run smoother and eliminate screen tearing on select PlayStation 5 games.
