1. To start off, you need to head over to the Settings menu in the game.

2. You should be viewing the System Settings page once you open the Settings menu.

If you are seeing another page, then you can use the L1/R1 buttons on a PlayStation gamepad, L/R buttons on a Nintendo Switch controller or LB/RB buttons on an Xbox controller to change pages.

3. From the System Settings page, move the cursor down to Base Speed, which should show the following description:

Adjust the character movement speed at the Base.

You will be able to change this setting to Slowest, Slow, Normal, Fast or Super. The default is Normal; so you should change it to either Fast or Super.

4. You can then move the cursor down to Combat Move Speed, which shows the following information:

Adjust the character movement speed in battle.

You will have the same speed options as before with Normal being the default. To increase the speed, you have to change this to either Fast or Super.

5. After changing the movement speed, you can exit the Settings menu. The new changes should now be applied in the game.

From there, you can set Combat Move Speed to Super. You can also change the Cursor Speed to Super as well if you find that moving the cursor to be too slow.

3. Next, you need to switch over to the Effect Settings page. You can change pages with the L1/R1, L/R or LB/RB buttons.

4. From the Effect Settings page, we recommend changing the following settings:

• Ally Effects – We suggest switching ally attack and skill animations to either Skip A or Skip B. With Skip B, you will be able to view the animations when they are used for the first time and skip them in subsequent uses.
• Enemy Effects – You can also set enemy attack and skill animations to either Skip A or Skip B.
• System Effects – By setting this to Skip, you no longer have to view Geo Panel locations.
• Battle Menu Effects – If set to Skip, you should no longer see Battle Menu animations.
• Speed Up Effects – When set to On, this will increase the speed of certain effects during combat.

5. Once you are done, exit the Settings menu. Any changes you made to the combat speed features will be saved and applied to the game.

1. For the first step, you need to head to the main menu in Disgaea 7 as you won’t be able to change the voice language during the middle of battle.

2. From the main menu, you need to select Settings.

3. Next, you need to change pages until you get to the Language Settings tab.

You can flip pages by using L1 and R1 on a PlayStation controller, L and R on a Switch controller or LB and RB on an Xbox controller.

4. Once you get to the Language Settings tab, move the cursor down to Language, which should show the following description:

Switch the language used for voices.

You are able to switch between English and Japanese voices.

5. You can then exit the Settings menu and then continue your game. The new voice language should be applied.
