SanDisk has confirmed that its microSD Express will be compatible with the Nintendo Switch 2. With this memory card, you will be able to store additional games.
According to its product listing, the SanDisk microSD Express has a write speed of up to 650 MB per second with a sustained write speed of 210 MB per second, which should make game transfers and installations fast.
More importantly, the read speed is 880 MB per second, which should help with loading times.
The Nintendo Switch 2 has an internal storage of 256 GB, some of which will be taken up by the operating system. Currently, there are two size variants of SanDisk’s microSD Express: 128 GB and 256 GB.
