I recently got a chance to play through Martian Panic on the PlayStation 5 Pro, thanks to a review copy provided by Funbox Media.

You can read my mini-review of Martian Panic below:
Pros:
- A lot of fun stages.
- Local co-op.
Cons:
- Analog stick aiming.
Overall:
Martian Panic is an on rails shooter where you fight against an alien invasion. Despite its low production value, since it was originally a Nintendo Wii game, the game has a lot of charm due to its classic humor.
It also offers a large variety of stages, as you will be fighting aliens in a parking lot theater, local neighborhood, and even in space.
While you can play Martian Panic alone, the game is built around local co-op. Even in the easiest difficulty setting, you will die a lot in the latter stages as some normal enemies take a lot of bullets to take down. Not to mention that some of the bosses can be quite difficult as well, especially when it comes to attacking. Fortunately, you get unlimited continues in the easiest difficulty.
The only real drawback is that aiming with the analog stick feels stick, especially when compared to using a light gun. Although you can change the sensitivity of the aiming cursor, it never feels quite right. Unfortunately, analog stick aiming is the only way to play the game on PlayStation.
Even with stiff aiming, Martian Panic is still a fun on-rails shooter if you are a fan of the genre, especially in multiplayer.
