When using the Motorola Edge 2021, you may encounter an issue where you can’t turn on your phone.

To resolve this power problem, you can check out this troubleshooting guide at Seeking Tech.

How to force reboot the Motorola Edge 2021

The first step we recommend taking is by force rebooting your Motorola Edge 2021.

In order to do so, you need to press and hold the Power button for up to 30 seconds on your Edge 2021 smartphone.

If that doesn’t work, plug the Edge 2021 into a phone charger and then try the force reboot again.

Recharging your Motorola Edge 2021

If you still can’t turn on your Motorola Edge 2021 after performing a force reboot, the issue may be related to a depleted battery.

Therefore, we recommend recharging your smartphone. When recharging, make sure you are using the same cable and wall charger that came with the Edge 2021 phone. You should also make sure that both of these parts are connected properly (if you are using a phone case, then the case may be impeding the USB port of the phone) and aren’t damaged.

You should see a battery icon on screen of the Motorola Edge 2021. The phone won’t turn on until it reaches a minimal battery power level, which should take around 15 minutes to 20 minutes when you are using the wall charger that came with the phone.

If you are using another recharging method, such as recharging the phone through an USB port, then it may take longer for the phone’s battery to reach the minimum required level.

How to factory reset the Motorola Edge 2021

If your Motorola Edge 2021 still can’t turn on, then the issue may be software related. To resolve this, we recommend preforming a factory reset.

So, if you have any important files, then we recommend trying to back up the data if possible.

2. You will also need at least 25% of remaining battery life to be able to factory reset the Motorola Edge 2021.

So, make sure you recharge your phone to get the minimum battery level.

3. After meeting the battery requirement, unplug the Edge 2021 from the charger.

4. Press and hold the Power and Volume Down buttons for three seconds and then release both buttons.

5. You should see a menu.

Use the Volume Down button to highlight the Recovery option.

If that doesn’t work, you can try pressing and holding the Volume Up button. With the Volume Up held down, press and release the Power button.

How to fix a frozen screen for iPhone 13, mini, Pro and Pro Max

One of the reasons for these screen issues may be related to your iOS of your iPhone 13 crashing. To fix the crashes, we recommend performing a force restart. In order to do so, you need to take the following steps:

1. First off, make sure you know the locations of the Side Button, Volume Up Button and Volume Down Button of your iPhone 13.

If you are holding your smartphone in a portrait orientation with the selfie camera on the top side, then the Side Button should be on the right while the Volume Up Button and Volume Down Button should be on the left.

2. To perform the hard resets, begin by pressing and then releasing the Volume Up Button.

3. Afterwards, press and then release the Volume Down Button.

4. Press and hold the Side Button until you see the Apple logo appears on the screen of your iPhone.

5. To prevent your screen from freezing in the future, make sure to keep the iOS and apps updated to the latest software versions.

If you notice a pattern of when your screen is not responding, such as when you are using an app or a combination of apps, then we recommend not repeating this pattern until either the iOS or troublesome app(s) have been updated.
