11. Here you should find the contacts.vcf file.

Tap the three dots icon to the right of the file.

12. In the pop-up menu, tap Back up to Google Drive.

13. Tap OK.

How to import contacts to Motorola Edge 2021

In order to import contacts from your old Android phone to your new Motorola Edge 2021 phone, you need to do the following:

1 First off, make sure that you are using the same Google Account on your old phone and new Motorola Edge 2021 phone.

2. You also need to make sure you back up your contacts to the Google Drive with the same Google Account.

If you haven’t done the back up on your old phone already, you can check out the above first tutorial of this guide.

3. Now that you meet the prerequisites, tap the Contacts app on your Motorola Edge 2021.

4. Once you are inside the Contacts app, tap the three horizontal lines icon at the top.

5. In the new sidebar menu, tap Settings.

6. Once you are inside the Settings menu, scroll down to the Manage contacts section and then tap Import.

7. In the pop-up menu asking where you want to import your contacts from, select .vcf file and the tap OK.

8. If you have more than one Google Account on your Motorola Edge 2021, make sure you select the same Google Account you used to upload the .vcf file from your old phone.

9. In the Downloads page, tap the three horizontal lines icon at the top.

10. In the “Open from” sidebar menu, select the Google Drive attached to the Google Account you are using on both phones.

11. In the Drive menu, tap My Drive.

12. Inside the My Drive menu, you should see the contacts.vcf file.

Tap the file to import your contacts to the Motorola Edge 2021.
