Love Chemistry: Sibella’s Formula on PS5 Pro – Trophy Guide & Mini-Review

I recently got a chance to play through Love Chemistry: Sibella’s Formula, thanks to a review copy provided by eastasiasoft.

You can find my gameplay video, which shows you how to earn the platinum trophy, below:

Trophy tips:

  • Make sure you land on thinly vines to get the Ouch, that hurts! trophy.
  • Some enemies will glow with hearts when defeated. Press circle next to them to unlock a special animation. Do this for nine different enemy types (3 each in every stage) to unlock the Freedom trophies.
  • For the sub bosses and main bosses, it is pretty hard to constantly dodge their attacks. Instead, try to attack aggressive even if it means you need to take a hit or two.
  • When you run out of lives, you will need to restart a stage all over again. The only exception is towards the end of the game where you can respawn at the motorcycle in stage 3.

You can also check out my mini-review of this game below:

  • Pros:
  • Fun clone of classic Mega Man.
  • Old-school difficulty.

Cons:

  • Overly long stages.

Overall:

Love Chemistry: Sibella’s Formula is a Mega Man clone where you play as a crazed scientist.

As you progressed through the stages, you will take on sub bosses and main bosses. By defeating them, you will unlock new sub weapons.

The game is actually quite hard, especially when it comes to the boss fight. You will most likely lose a ton of lives during these fights as you figure out their attack patterns.

If you run out of lives, you need to start the entire stage over again. The main problem with this is that the stages are overly long. The game would have been better off having a mid-stage check point after the sub-bosses.

If you don’t mind the difficulty, then Love Chemistry: Sibella’s Formula offers a fun spin to classic Mega Man.
