I recently got a chance to play through Twilight Parade: Moonlit Mononoke multiple times, thanks to a review code provided by eastasiasoft.

Trophy tips:
- Break the Maneki Neko with any character. You should find one on the first stage.
- Kill the Big Red Oni with Red Oni for the Crimson trophy. This enemy will start appearing from the third stage onward.
- Kill the Big Blue Oni with Blue Oni for the Midnight Blue trophy. This enemy will start appearing from the third stage onward.
- When playing as Gyokuto, make sure to touch the red moon on stage 5.
- For the rest of the trophies, you need to beat the game eight times, each with a different character variant.
- When you get a game over, make sure to select the Continue option. Selecting the Game Over option means you have to restart from the beginning of the first stage.

- Beginner friendly bullet hell.

Overall:
Twilight Parade: Moonlit Mononoke is a horizontal shoot-em-up of the bullet hell variety. This means that enemy bullets constantly littered the screen. Thankfully, your hit box is only limited to the small green amulet.
You also have unlimited continues that put you right back into the action. If you were previously intimidated by bullet hell shooters, then Twilight Parade: Moonlit Mononoke is very beginner friendly. Not to mention, it also looks great as well with big and detailed pixels.
The main drawback is that Moonlit Mononoke is pretty basic as you simply hold down the fire button while avoiding enemy fire. There aren’t any sub-weapons or special attacks. The characters play the same as well, so there isn’t much replay value for a game that takes 20 minutes to beat.
With that said, Twilight Parade: Moonlit Mononoke is cheaper than the other bullet hell shooters. If you are looking for a cheap and beginner friendly horizontal shooter, then you might want to give this game a shot. If you enjoy earning trophies, then this takes around 2 and a half hours to get the platinum.
