Poetic Trio on PS5 Pro: First Impressions

I recently got a chance to play around an hour of Poetic Trio, thanks to a review copy provided by Sometimes You.

You can find my gameplay, along with my impressions on the collection, below:

Pros:

  • Relaxing walking simulator.
  • Three distinct experiences.

Cons:

  • Technical issues.

Overall:

Poetic Trio contains three distinct experiences. Pluviophile is based around rain, Chionophile focuses on snow, and Loverowind is themed around wind.

In all of these games, you walk around at your own place, exploring the world around you.

To progress, you need to look for flowers and then place them on matching pedestals. Along the way, you will find quotes from famous poets. There are a few accessibility features that make finding these easier.

Unfortunately, Poetic Trio does suffer from some technical issues, mainly in Pluviophile where the foliage pop-ins and frame drops are noticeable.

Aside from the tech problems, Poetic Trio is a pretty relaxing experience if you are into walking simulators.
