Transcend has two similar SATA III 6Gb/s solid state drives with the SSD220S and SSD230S.

The Transcend SSD230S is faster than the Transcend SSD220S when it comes to maximum sequential reading and maximum random reading.

For the maximum sequential writing, the SSD230S is faster than the SSD220S when you compare similar capacities with the exception of the 960 GB SSD220S and 1 TB SSD230S (which have the same top write speeds).

For maximum random reading, the 120 GB SSD220S is faster than the 128 GB SSD230S. However, the 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB SSD230S SSDs are faster than the 240 GB, 480 GB and 960 GB SSDs.
