Last but not least, the Extreme Pro Portable V2 is the only one of the two to offer a 4 TB capacity option.

The first and second generations of the SanDisk Extreme Pro Portable are identical when it comes to physical size.

Both of the external storage drives are built with a forged aluminum body, which is designed to act as a heat sink in addition to providing protection to the inner core.

Password Protection

Dust and Water Resistance

The two solid state drives in this versus guide have a dust and water resistance rating of IP55.
