1. The first step we recommend taking is to check to see if your Samsung Galaxy S22, Samsung Galaxy S22+ or Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra has the Adaptive Brightness feature enabled.

In order to do so, you need to take the following steps:

• Open the Settings App on your phone.
• Tap the Display option.
• Make sure that the Adaptive Brightness setting is turned on.

With Adaptive Brightness enabled, you will no longer be able to use the Extra Brightness setting, which would have let you set the screen brightness to an even higher level.

With Adaptive Brightness enabled, your Samsung phone will use machine learning to learn about your screen brightness preferences over time.
