How to disable motion blur in Payday 3

1. If you haven’t done so already, then the first step is to make your way to the Settings menu in Payday 3.

2. Once you get there, make sure you are viewing the Video tab. If not, you need to switch tabs until you get there.

If you are playing the game with a controller, then you can use the L1 and R1 buttons with the PlayStation gamepad or the LB and RB buttons with the Xbox pad to change tabs.

3. From the Video tab, move the menu cursor down to Motion Blur.

4. As we stated previously, Motion Blur is set to “On” by default. To disable this feature, select it to set it to “Off.”

You can unlock a cosmetic downloadable content item by pre-ordering Payday 3. If you get the Silver, Gold or Collector’s Edition of the game, you will also get other bonuses.

If you visit the PlayStation Store listings for Payday 3, then you should see a notification appear saying that the Trifecta Lootbag, Dark Sterling Mask, Solidus Mask, Golden Slate Gloves and Skull of Liberty Mask won’t be activated in-game until October 5, 2023.

According to a statement made by the development team, technical issues are preventing the cosmetics DLCs from showing up in the PS5 version of the game. As a result, you won’t be able to access them at launch.

If you purchase a physical version of Payday 3, you are required to redeem a voucher that came with the game box in order to unlock the cosmetics. However, this code can’t be redeemed until October 5th.

You can find the developer’s statement regarding this issue below (via the official Playday the Game website):

The launch of PAYDAY 3 is the biggest thing we’ve done as a studio so far. And since we don’t do releases of this scale often, we have run into technical issues with cosmetic DLCs on PlayStation 5. As a consequence of this, PS5 players will not have access to their bonus cosmetics or be able to redeem codes for them, which includes the Gold/Silver version specific items, the pre order bonus items, and also the Collector’s Edition bonus items on launch day. As these items are cosmetic, this will not affect PS5 players’ progression or gameplay experience, but we understand that this will still cause frustration within our community. If you have physical sheets with activation codes on them, please keep them safe until the issue is resolved and they can be redeemed as normal.

We are working hard to make sure these will be available to you as soon as possible, and our current ETA is to have this fixed by the 5th of October.

How to enable or disable crossplay in Payday 3

When you first boot up Payday 3, you will be asked whether or not to enable crossplay. This feature will allow PlayStation, Xbox and PC players to play with each other.

1. If you haven’t done so already, head over to the Settings menu in Payday 3.

2. From there, you need to change tabs until you get to Gameplay.

You can switch tabs for this heist game by using the L1 and R1 buttons if you are using a PlayStation controller or by using the LB and RB buttons on an Xbox gamepad.

3. From the Gameplay tab, move the menu cursor down to Disable Crossplay setting under the Online section.

4. Select Disable Crossplay to toggle it “On” or “Off.”

If this setting is set to “On,” then you will be limited to matching up with other players on the same network. If it is set to “Off.” then the matchmaking will include players on other networks.

How to fix Payday 3 network error and Nebula data error

When trying to play Payday 3, you may run into the following error codes:

Network Error. No Network Connection.

Nebula Data Error. Failed to Fetch Game Config Data.

The aforementioned error messages indicate there is a server issue with Payday 3.

Unfortunately, you are required to connect to the servers in order to play the game, even if you are only playing by yourself. So, without an online connection, you will be stuck staring at the “Press Any Button To Start” screen.

The only fix is to simply wait until the game servers are fully operational again. We recommend keeping an eye on the official Payday game Twitter page to find updates if there are any ongoing problems related to the latest installment in the series.

If the servers appear to be fine but you still can’t connect online in Payday 3, then you should make sure that your PC or console is connected to the internet. You should also check to see if the PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Steam or Windows servers aren’t down as well.

Of course, you need to make sure you have the latest patch installed for the game as the new update file may help fix the server connection problems for the online-only game.

You may also want to consider power cycling your networking equipment. To do so, turn off or unplug your router, modem and other networking devices. After waiting several minutes, power them back on again. Once your internet has gone back online, try to start playing Payday 3 to see if you are still seeing the network or Nebula data errors.
