In order to prevent your LG OLED from getting too hot, we recommend that you take the following precautionary measures:

1. Make sure you are using your television set within the recommended temperature range of 0 °C to 40 °C (or 32 °F to 104 °F).

2. LG recommends that the operating humidity level should also be below 80%.

3. When not using your A2, B2, C2 or G2, you should store it within a humidity range of less than 85%.

4. Avoid placing your TV in an area that is constantly being exposed to direct sunlight.

5. You should also avoid putting your OLED near any heat, radiator, stove or any other heat sources.

6. If you place your A2, B2, C2 or G2, near a kitchen counter or humidifier, then it could be exposed to steam or oil.

7. Make sure you have enough open-air surrounding your television set. Otherwise, the outgoing heat will become trapped and have a harder time dissipating.

8. Do not put your TV on a carpet or cushion.

1. To start off, turn off your television set.

2. Unplug the power cord of your TV from the power outlet.

3. You should also unplug any HDMI cable, USB cable as well as other accessories you have attached to your LG screen.
