I recently got a chance to play through Pogui, thanks to a review copy provided by eastasiasoft.
You can find my platinum trophy playthrough below:
Trophy tips:
- At the start of the game, select the Relax difficulty. This will give you infinite lives.
- You should unlock all of the trophies naturally by beating all the levels.
Pros:
- Simple yet fun platforming.
- Charming main character who changes outfit based on location.
- Multiple difficulty settings.
Cons:
- None.
Overall
In Pogui, you control a pug by running and jumping. While simple, the level design will constantly keep you on your toes with creative hazards as you make your way through its 20 levels.
The game comes with three difficulty levels. If you simply want to unlock all the achievements and trophies, then you should start with Relaxed.
If you are looking for a challenge, then you can select Normal, which enforces a limited number of lives that will kick you back out of the stage when exhausted. For the ultimate challenge, you can try the Nightmare mode.
Overall, Pogui is a fun platformer with some creative level designs. Although it may be a bit short, there are multiple difficulty options that help increase its replay value. If you are a fan of 2D platformers, then you should give this game a shot.
