I recently got a chance to play through Mister Scary – Where Are You?, thanks to a review copy provided by Ratalaika Games.

Trophy Guide and Road Map:
To unlock all the trophies, you need to beat all six stages. Since the game supports rewind, then getting the platinum should be relatively easy.
During your playthrough, make sure you die once to unlock Whoopsie! You also need to collect a Spicy Pepper (for Feel the Burn), Ice Cube (for Chilled Out) and 15 “S” tokens (for A Token of Appreciation).

Mister Scary – Where Are You is an 8-bit retro platformer that was originally developed for the NES.
In the game, you play as a snake who lost his family. In order to reunite with them, he must traverse through six Halloween-themed levels. The stages are pretty diverse as you get to visit a castle, Area 51, pirate ship, and more. At the end of each level, you face off against a formidable boss.
In terms of gameplay, you can attack most enemies by jumping on their heads. You can also use ice and fire attacks by picking up power-ups. Furthermore, there is a neat mechanic where you can go to sleep to become immune to enemy attacks.
The emulated version of Mister Scary supports the rewind feature, which is extremely useful if you mistimed a jump or couldn’t dodge an enemy attack.
Overall, Mister Scary – Where Are You is a very fun and accessible retro platformer with Halloween-themed level. If you are into 2D platforming games, then make sure to check it out.
