Hyper Mirror Run: Trophy Guide

I recently got a chance to play Hyper Mirror Run, thanks to a review copy provided by Ratalaika Games.

You can check out my gameplay video, which shows how you can unlock the platinum trophy, below:

Trophy Tips:

  • To unlock the platinum, beat the first two worlds while killing every enemy.
  • Set the difficulty to easy if you want a stress-free platinum.
  • If you run out of lives, you have to start the level from the beginning. If you are low on lives at the start of the level, then you might want to die intentionally until your lives reset. That way, you don’t have to waste valuable time climbing back up.

You can also check out my impressions of Hyper Mirror Run below:

Pros:

  • Competitive split-screen platformer.
  • Versus mode.
  • Easy trophies.

Cons:

  • None

Overall:

Hyper Mirror Run is a 2D platformer where you compete with either the computer AI or another player in order to make it to the finish line.

The screen is split in half, showing the opponent’s progress as well as yours. This adds another layer of pressure, especially if you see your opponent doing well.

The game has 55 levels spread across 5 worlds. In single player, there are also three difficulty settings to choose from, adding a lot of replay value.

Aside from the computer, you can also race against another player. Whoever gets to the flag first wins. If you end up tied, then the first tiebreaker goes to the one who picked up the most gems, while the second tiebreaker is based on the number of defeated enemies.

Overall, Hyper Mirror Run offers a fun a unique take to 2D platforming. If you are a fan of the genre, then you should definitely give this game a shot.
