When trying to use your INZONE H7 or INZONE H9, you may not be able to turn it on. The wireless gaming headset may also be unresponsive and/or suffering from other problems. A common fix for these issues related to the H7 and H9 is to do a reset or a factory reset.
How to reset the INZONE H7 and INZONE H9
In order to reset the INZONE H7 Wireless Gaming Headset or INZONE H9 Wireless Noise Canceling Gaming Headset, you can try taking the following steps:
1. Connect your INZONE H7 or INZONE H9 to a power source by using the USB cable that came included in the packaging of your headset.
2. You should see the charging indicator show an orange light, which indicates that the headset is currently charging.
3. With the headset charging, press and hold both the power button and the Bluetooth button at the same time for at least 8 seconds.
After resetting your INZONE H7 or INZONE H9, we recommend that you test out your wireless gaming headset to see if it is still suffering from any of the previous issues.
Keep in mind that the pairing information, as well as several other settings, will be retained even if you reset your headset.
How to factory reset the INZONE H7 and INZONE H9
If doing a regular reset did not fix the problems with your INZONE H7 Wireless Gaming Headset or INZONE H9 Wireless Noise Canceling Gaming Headset, then you can try doing a factory reset by taking the following steps:
1. If you want to connect your INZONE H7 or INZONE H9 to the same devices again, then you need to delete the headset’s pairing information on the connected devices. This is because a factory reset will remove all of the pairing information on your INZONE.
You should be able to delete or forget the pairing information of the wireless gaming headset from the Bluetooth menu of the connected device.
2. To start the factory resetting process, you should make sure that you have enough battery life remaining on your INZONE H7 Wireless Gaming Headset or INZONE H9 Wireless Noise Canceling Gaming Headset so that it can safely go through the factory reset process.
In order to do so, turn on your headset.
The power indicator of the INZONE H7 should show a white light for around 2 seconds, which indicates that there is still battery charge. On the INZONE H9, left and right ring indicators should light up a white or blue light for around 5 seconds.
3. You should also make sure that you unplug the USB cable if you have one connected to your headset.
4. Once you have everything set up, you need to press both the power button and the Bluetooth button at the same time for around 10 seconds or more.
5. Once the factory resetting process has been completed, the power indicator of the INZONE H7 should flash a white light 4 times. On the INZONE H9, the left and right ring indicators should flash a white light 4 times.
After you have factory reset your headset, you need to go through the pairing process if you want to connect it to the same devices again.
