The best location to level up your job level is in the Castle of Bol on the second world.
Once you get there, head to the B2 floor. From there, you will encounter the Object De Art enemies.
Before you start fighting these, I recommend using the Boost menu to speed up the grind. Make sure that you have ABP set to 4X.
When it comes to the actual fight, these creatures can be instantly defeated if you have the Level 5 Death blue magic spell. If you use a Gold Needle, then they will be defeated instantly as well. If you don’t have either of those, then you should hammer them with the Ramuh summon and thunder magic attacks.
In groups of two, the Objet d’Arts will net 16 ability points for every battle. In groups of five, you will get 32 ability points for every battle.
If you need to rest, then you can use a tent or cottage on the save point in the previous room. You can also head back out of the basement, and then sleep in the nearby inn.
