1. For the first step, you need to head over to the Settings menu in the ChatGPT Android App.
In order to do so, you need to first tap the three horizontal lines icon located on the top left of a chat session. Afterwards, select Settings.
2. From the Settings screen, you need to select Data Controls.
3. Select the Delete Account option from the Data Controls menu.
4. In the pop-up menu, you will see information about the deletion process. It should show the following description:
Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data, including profile, conversations, and API usage, will be removed. You cannot reuse the same email or phone number for a new account. If you’ve been using ChatGPT with the API, this access will also be deleted.
From this pop-up menu, you need to select the Delete Account link in order to remove your ChatGPT account from the Android app as well as other devices.
