2. If you are charging the phone, unplug it from the charging cable.

3. Remove any other accessories and cables you have attached to the device.

4. If you are using a case, then you should remove the phone from the case as well.

5. If your Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is really dirty, you can try running tap water through it to remove most of the dirt and smudges.

For the uninformed, this phone has an IP68 water resistance rating, which means that it should have no problems with being splashed with tap water.

  • Plain tap water
  • Solution with 50 ppm to 80 ppm hypochlorous acid
  • Solution with at least 70% ethanol
  • Solution with at least 70% isopropyl alcohol

If you are using hypochlorous acid, ethanol or isopropyl alcohol, then Samsung recommends that you don’t apply these solutions directly on the Galaxy S21 FE 5G. Instead, you need to put them on a cleaning cloth.

8. Make sure that the cloth is not too wet. If it is, you can squeeze out any excess solutions.

Apply a little bit more pressure and use more of the aforementioned water or compatible cleaning solutions if necessary.

10. After wiping the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, we recommend letting it air dry.

You can use a fan to improve air circulation and speed up the drying process.

Avoid using a space heater, hair blow dryer or other heat sources as you may end up damaging your phone.

11. After your Galaxy S21 FE has dried, you should be able to put the case back on it, reattach another other cable/accessories, turn the phone back on and/or recharge it.
