This Seeking Tech guide will show you how to beat Don Octavio without taking damage in Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves (2024) on PS5 and PS4.

First Phase
For the first phase, you need to shoot down his boat while dodging his attacks.
When it comes to the water mines and horizontal red lasers, you can simply jump over them.
For the vertical red lasers, these will first stay in place. When you encounter them the second time, they will move around. To dodge the moving ones, try to stay in the middle.
Focus on dodging while holding down R1 to shoot at the boss until his health is depleted.
Second Phase
For the second phase, you need to activate the tar pool to negate his charge attack.
You can then circle around him to avoid his tar throwing attack.
When you get close, he will try to kick you. Move backwards or to the side to avoid it and then counter.
He will also try a jump attack. To avoid the shock wave, you can also jump. Afterwards, you should be able to counter.
When the tar pool is depleted, run around until you can reactivate it again.
Follow these steps to beat his second phase.
Third Phase
For the final phase, you first need to run to the next location.
In his final form, he will add a roaring attack. You need to run around to dodge this. Avoid attacking him afterwards, since he likes to use this attack consecutively.
Instead, attack him after he uses his jump and kick attacks instead.
Focus on dodging and then counter when there is an opening to beat him without taking a hit.
