This Seeking Tech guide will show you how to beat Black Baron without taking a hit in Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves (2024) on PS5 and PS4.
Use the following video as a reference:
First Phase
For the first phase, you should avoid getting behind or in front of the plane. If you do get in his line of sight, then you can quickly roll to the side to avoid his turrets. You can also run into other planes if you aren’t careful.
Try to stay close to the side of the black plane and don’t be afraid to abandon the chase if there are too many planes flying around.
As long as you stay patient, you should be able to shoot down his planed without taking damage.
Second Phase
For the second phase, the boss will attack you with a tackle, uppercut and light jab. You can avoid the tackle by sidestepping and the uppercut by taking a back step.
The light jab is too quick to dodge, so you should try staying at distance and only attack with one or two hits at a time.
Once you hurt him enough, he will starts sending minions at you. If you stand by the airplane door and swing away, you should be able to take care of them quickly.
The camera for this battle can’t be moved. So, you need to keep that in mind if you don’t want to get blindsided by an attack.
Third Phase
The Black Baron will add a stomping attack. To avoid it, double jump when you see him suspended in the air.
Fourth Phase
For the fourth phase, there will be an extra minion on the battlefield. You need to be more cautious for this last stretch if you don’t want to get hit.
The minion will pause for a brief second when spewing out oil and then lighting it on fire. You can try attacking it if you see an opening. The fire attack can also hurt the boss, so you may want to use that to your advantage.
This should give you a few seconds to fight the boss one-on-one before another minion gets summoned.
Take your time in the fourth phase and you should be able to beat the Black Baron without taking damage.
