Dumb Ways to Build on PS5 Pro: First Impressions

I recently got a chance to play around an hour of Dumb Ways to Build on the PlayStation 5 Pro, thanks to a review copy provided by Dumb Ways to Die.

You can find my single-player gameplay below:

You can also find my first impressions of Dumb Ways to Build below:

Pros:

  • Open-ended platforming game.
  • 4-player online co-op.
  • Accidental deaths can be humorous.

Cons:

  • Single player can be very challenging.

Overall:

Dumb Ways to Build is an open-ended platforming game where your goal is to perform specific tasks, which usually involve traveling to high and dangerous places.

In order to do so, you need to bolt down any items you find to create a platform. You can get as creative as you want as the game basically lets you build out your own path.

Dumb Ways to Build is best played with other players online, as you can coordinate in order to get the job done. Any mistakes that lead to death is also quite hilarious in co-op.

My gameplay video shows off the Solo Play mode. Although it is very playable, the game is quite challenging alone, as you have to carry and build platforms on your own even if you have the ability to freeze items to get them suspended for a few seconds.

Overall, Dumb Ways to Build is a fun and hilarious co-op platforming game where you need to coordinate to build your own path. If you are into co-op games, then make sure you check out this new release.
