Trophy Guide and Roadmap:
Set the microphone calibration to high or mute your microphone to stop the game from picking up any noises you make, which will increase your fear meter.
To get the Bad Ending trophy, you need to beat the game without getting all the notes and anomalies.
In order to unlock the rest of the trophies, including the True Ending, you need to find all the notes and anomalies in one sitting. This means that, if you close the game without finishing it, you will get locked into the Bad Ending. Make sure you have around at least an hour to spare if you want to get the True Ending.
Each night has four notes and 10 anomalies. You should find all four notes first, and then try to stack up as many camera batteries and pills you can find. These two items randomly spawn, mostly between the living room, kitchen, and bathroom.
Once you stack up on pills and batteries, you can then start looking for anomalies. While doing so, make sure your fear meter stay low by taking pills. Avoid hitting the red line on the meter; otherwise, you will get attacked and have to start the night over again from the beginning.
If you die, make sure you grab the notes again before you start finding the anomalies.

Pros:
- Creepy atmosphere with lots of jumps scare.
- Innovative use of microphone to measure fear.
Cons:
- Various glitches.
Overall:
Dream Cage is a first-person horror game where your goal is to look for anomalies with a camera in a small apartment.
The game uses a fear meter that will increase any time you see something unusual. If you have your microphone turned on, then the fear meter will also go up if you make loud enough noises.
To power your camera, you need to look for batteries. To decrease your fear level, you need to look for pills. Both of these randomly spawn through your apartment.
In between nights, you also encounter different monsters that will hunt you while you suffer from sleep paralysis. If you make any loud noises during these sequences, you will have to restart the night all over again.
Dream Cage is quite a tense game, especially if you play as the developer intended by having the microphone turned on to measure the noises you make. Along with a creepy atmosphere, there are plenty of jump scares.
Unfortunately, I encountered a few glitches. Although this may be intentional, Dream Cage will lock you out of True Ending, even if you meet all the requirements, if you close the game before completing it. During the true ending, the subtitles displayed were also extremely tiny.
Even with the bugs, Dream Cage is still a fun and creepy horror game. If you are a fan of these games, then make sure you don’t miss out on this release.
