I recently got a chance to play around 100 minutes of Curse of Resthaven on the PlayStation 5 Pro, thanks to a review copy provided by Digital Bandidos.

Curse of Resthaven is a narrative roguelite that combines several genres: investigations, deck building, and resource management.
As the governor, you are stationed is the cursed colony of Resthaven. Here, you need to converse with the locales to solve several mysteries.
Of course, your job is to also manage the local economy, which includes taking provisions as taxes, buying local resources, and haggling with trading partners.
You can also partake in expeditions to find missing individuals and expand your colony. In order to succeed, you need to place certain cards during various encounters outside of your colony.
After every seven days, you start all over again but will your memories and some permanent upgrades.
What makes Curse of Resthaven stand out is its impressive visuals. The graphic novel like visuals is beaming with atmosphere while the voice acting for all important characters in the colony is excellent.
With a very compelling story to boot, Curse of Resthaven is shaping up to be a fantastic game for fans of narrative-driven adventure games.
