Compatible Wi-Fi standards for the LG A3, LG B3 and LG C3

Depending on the model number of your LG A3, B3 or C3, your television set either uses a Wi-Fi 5 (IEEE 802.11ac) or Wi-Fi 6 (IEEE 802.11ax) network. You can check out this guide at Seeking Tech in order to find the Wi-Fi specs of your 2023 OLED LG A3, B3 or C3 television.

LG A3, LG B3 and LG C3 models that use the LGSBWAX12 Network Card

If your A3, B3 or C3 has a model number that ends with “AUA” (or you have the 48” LG C3 that ends with either “AUA” or AUB”) then it should be equipped with the LGSBWAX12 Network Card. You can find the full list of supported OLED models below:

  • OLED48A3AUA
  • OLED55A3AUA
  • OLED65A3AUA
  • OLED77A3AUA
  • OLED55B3AUA
  • OLED65B3AUA
  • OLED77B3AUA
  • OLED42C3AUA
  • OLED48C3AUA
  • OLED48C3AUB
  • OLED55C3AUA
  • OLED65C3AUA
  • OLED77C3AUA
  • OLED83C3AUA

The LGSBWAX12 Network Card can connect to Wi-Fi 6 in addition to supporting older Wi-Fi standards. You can check out the compatible connections below:

  • IEEE 802.11a
  • IEEE 802.11 b
  • IEEE 802.11g
  • IEEE 802.11n (Wi-Fi 4)
  • IEEE 802.11ac (Wi-Fi 5)
  • IEEE 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6)

You can also find the frequency ranges and maximum output powers for the LGSBWAX12 below:

  • 2,400 MHz to 2,472 MHz frequency range with 17 dBm output power
  • 5,150 MHz to 5,725 MHz frequency range with 15 dBm output power
  • 5,725 MHz to 5,850 MHz frequency range with 15 dBm output power
  • 5,945 MHz to 7,125 MHz frequency range with 11 dBm output power

LG A3, LG B3 and LG C3 models that use the LGSBWAC95 Network Card

If your A3, B3 or C3 model number ends with “PUA,” then it is equipped with the LGSBWAC95 network card. This card is limited to Wi-Fi 5 (IEEE 802.11ac) or lower. You can find the complete list of these televisions below:

  • OLED48A3PUA
  • OLED55A3PUA
  • OLED65A3PUA
  • OLED77A3PUA
  • OLED55B3PUA
  • OLED65B3PUA
  • OLED77B3PUA
  • OLED42C3PUA
  • OLED48C3PUA
  • OLED55C3PUA
  • OLED65C3PUA
  • OLED77C3PUA
  • OLED83C3PUA

With the LGSBWAC95 network card, you will be able to use the following Wi-Fi standards when connecting the OLED wirelessly to your home network:

  • IEEE 802.11a
  • IEEE 802.11 b
  • IEEE 802.11g
  • IEEE 802.11n (Wi-Fi 4)
  • IEEE 802.11ac (Wi-Fi 5)

You can also check out the frequency ranges and maximum output powers for the LGSBWAC95 card below:

  • 2,400 MHz to 2,483.5 MHz frequency range with 18.5 dBm output power
  • 5,150 MHz to 5,725 MHz frequency range with 18 dBm output power
  • 5,725 MHz to 5,850 MHz frequency range with 18 dBm output power

So, if you want to connect your LG A3, B3 or C3 television to your Wi-Fi 6 wireless home network, then its model number needs to end with “AUA.” The only exception is the OLED48C3AUB, which also supports the same LGSBWAX12 network card as the other AUA models.
