Cilla on PS5 Pro: Trophy Guide and Mini Review

I recently got a chance to play through Cilla on the PlayStation 5 Pro, thanks to a review code provided by Stamina Zero.

You can find my platinum trophy walkthrough below:

Trophy Guide and Roadmap:

Step 1:

During the first level, let your ally get shot down to unlock the “You were right, Pilot-1″ trophy.

Step 2:

During the first three levels, let your ally deal with the enemies on his own. Once he gets shot 21 times, you should unlock the “21 Pilots” trophy.

Step 3:

In the third level, shoot down your ally during a dialogue sequence in the middle of the stage to unlock the “Lusting for death” trophy.

Step 4:

Complete the rest of the game to unlock most of the other story-related trophies. At the end of the 10th stage, you will have to make a choice to determine the ending you will get.

Once you make your choice, go through the ending sequence and replay the 10th stage again to select the other ending.

Step 5:

Clean up the rest of the miscellaneous trophies by replay stages.

You need to shoot your gun 21,000 times, use the healing power-up 7 times, use any kind of power-up 30 times, kill every enemy type at least once, die 10 times, and beat any level in the game with a three stars rank.

To get a three stars rank, you need to kill all the enemy in a stage. This can be easily done in the first level of the game.

If you find the game to be too difficult, then you can enter the following cheat code at any time during gameplay to enable God Mode (make sure you die ten times first to unlock the Topper trophy before using this cheat):

Triangle, Square, Circle, Cross, Up, Left, Right, Down, Triangle, Square, Circle, Cross, Up, Left, Right, Down

You can find my mini review of Cilla below:

Pros:

  • Energetic soundtrack.
  • Satisfy explosions.

Cons:

  • Lack of weapon variety.

Overall:

Cilla is a horizontal shoot ‘em up where you play as a super solider.

While the game has a ton of dialogue when compared to the rest of the genre, the writing is not the best and can sometimes be hard to comprehend. Fortunately, you can skip past the story sections and focus on the gameplay.

Cilla is pretty basic as you only have one main weapon. Along the way, you will find different power-ups that heal your health, give you a shield, slow down time, and change your bullet pattern.

However, the bullet power-ups are few and far between, meaning that you are stuck with using your main weapon.

Even with the lack of weapon variety, the game still offers plenty of fun mainly due to its presentation. The graphics look great, especially the explosion effects that add a little bit of oomph. The soundtrack is great too, providing a heart-pumping sci-fi score to keep you motivated.

While not the best of the genre, Cilla is a pretty fun horizontal shoot ‘em up for its budget friendly price point.
