Sony A80J and A90J wall mount specs

The A80J and A90J are two new BRAVIA XR OLED 4K Ultra HD television sets released by Sony in 2021.

For the uninformed, VESA spacing measures the horizontal and vertical distances between the four mounting screw holes located on the back of the A80J and A90J.

Official A80J and A90J TV wall mount

Sony does have an official product, with the SU WL855 Wall-Mount Bracket, that is compatible with the A80J and A90J televisions.

When installed with this mount, your OLED TV will be just 0.86 inch away from the wall. You can also swivel your A80J or A90J a little bit at up to 21 degrees to the left or right.

When it comes to the installation process, the SU-WL855 makes installing easier with its lateral shift bracket and magnetic lock system.

Compatible fixed wall mount

If you are looking for a mount to simply keep your A80J or A90J in place, then we recommend taking a look at the ECHOGEAR’s EGLL1-BK Low Profile Fixed TV Wall Mount.

By using this mount, your 2021 Sony OLED will be sitting at 1.25 inch away from the wall.

The EGLL1-BK fits the 300 mm x 300 mm VESA spacing. Since it can also hold up to 150 lbs. as well, this mount is compatible with all the screen sizes of the A80J and A90J.

The ECHOGEAR product uses a click lock security system to make sure the TV is securely installed. It also uses quick-release pull strings for easy removal.

The mount can be installed concrete, wood studs that are 16 inches apart or wood studs that are 24 inches apart.

Compatible tilt wall mount

If you are planning to mount your A80J or A90J up high up the wall and above your normal sight line, then we recommend picking up a tilt mount such as Sanus’ VLT6-B1 Advanced Tilt Premium TV Wall Mount.

With this product, your Sony OLED can be extended a maximum of up to 5.7 inches away from the wall. This will give you enough room to tilt your television set at up to 12 degrees downwards or upwards.

The VLT6-B1 supports the 300 mm x 300 mm VESA distance and can hold up to 150 lbs. So, it should be compatible with all screen sizes of the A80J and A90J.

The Sanus VLT6-B1 can be installed on concrete walls or wall with wood studs that are spaced 16 inches to 24 inches apart. The product also supports post-installation leveling and horizontal shifting.

Compatible articulating wall mount

If you prefer to view your A80J or A90J from various positions, then you should get a mount that is capable of swiveling. If you interested in doing so, then we recommend checking out the VideoSecu’s MP830B Articulating TV Mount.

With this product, you will be able to extend your 2021 Sony OLED from 2.75 inches to wall the way out at up to 25 inches from the wall. You can then be able to swivel your TV up to 70 degrees to the left or up to 70 degrees to the right.

Not to mention that you will also be able to tilt at a maximum of 15 degrees upwards or downwards.

The MP830B can be installed on wood studs that are 16 inches apart. After installation, you can re-level your TV display.
