I recently got a chance to play through Bad Cat: Chaos Simulator, thanks to a review copy provided by Upscale Studio.
You can find my platinum trophy playthrough below:
Trophy Tips:
You will get the Beginner trophy by finishing the tutorial at the beginning.
Complete the main missions of the Bedroom, Lobby and Garden areas to unlock their respective trophies. The objectives are located on the top right side of the screen.
In the Bedroom area, one of your main missions was to plug the TV back into the power outlet. After you made the connection, punch the plug off the outlet to unlock the Interference trophy.
You will eventually get a notice asking if you want to do a daily mission, which is how you get to the Garbage Dumb. You will also need to complete the mission here by finding all the mice to unlock the Daily Level trophy. You can return to the Garbage Dump by pressing R1 at any time.
Once you complete the main missions f the Lobby, exit and return to the same area. You can unlock the Fishing trophy by removing all the fish from the aquarium. If you take the stairways to the second floor, you should also unlock the “There’s nothing here” trophy (you may need to jump sideways at the top of the stairs to get past the invisible wall).
In the Garden, there are several miscellaneous trophies you can unlock:
Get attacked by the dog to unlock “Bark bark!”
Destroy the sandcastle to unlock the Castle trophy.
Jump on the diving board three times to unlock “1… 2… 3… GO!”
As part of the main missions, you also need to punch out the two headlights of the van, which will unlock “Can’t see anything!”
For the Mini Game trophy, you need to complete all five mini-games. There is one in the Kitchen, one in the Lobby, two in the Garden, and one more in the Garbage Dump.
To unlock the Wheel Spin trophy quickly, press L1 to start the spin near an exit area. After spinning the wheel, exit your current location and you should be able to spin immediately afterwards. Spin five times to unlock this trophy.
The Lobby is the best location to farm the Books, Ballons, Cups, Kitchen Utensils, and Plates trophies.
The Bedroom is the best location to farm the Notebooks (which have metal coils as the spine when compared to regular books) and Pots (which look more like jars).
The Bedroom is also the best place to get easily caught by grandma. Get caught 9 times in total to unlock “9 lives? Huh?”

Pros:
- Chaotic cat sandbox simulator.
- Wheel spins can add some crazy twists.
- Fun trophies.
Cons:
- A bit unpolished.
Overall:
Bad Cat: Chaos Simulator is a first-person cat simulator where your job is to cause as much chaos as possible across four locations. This usually involves breaking a lot of stuff.
What makes this game stand out from the Cat From Hell series is the wheel spin. This optional feature can turn the world upside down, turn off the lights, make the floor into lava, change the size of grandma, and more. The roulette adds more chaos to an already chaotic game.
The only downside is that the game is a little bit unpolished, even when compared to the Cat From Hell series. When jumping, for example, you may end up hitting invisible walls. Grandma can also get stuck in the environment as well.
Even with some bugs, Bad Cat: Chaos Simulator is still a fun little experience. If you enjoy Cat From Hell, you should like this game as well.
