I recently got a chance to play through Sigi – A Fart for Melusina Slightly Remastered Edition on the PlayStation 5 Pro, thanks to a review code provided by Sometimes You.
You can check out my platinum trophy walkthrough below:
Trophy Guide and Roadmap:
You will get most of the trophies when you attempt the Score 100% trophy, which requires you to find all collectibles and beat the game within 30 minutes.
The collectibles include the SIGI letters, secret cave entrances, golden grail in level 6, apple in level 16, golden talisman in level 18, golden crown in level 19, and golden lady in level 19.
The SIGI letters will appear in all levels except for the boss stages. Every level, aside from the boss stages and stage 17, also have a secret stage entrance marked by a small “x.” Refer to the video to find all the secrets.
If you haven’t gotten 100 zombie kills and found 2500 coins by the end of your playthrough, replay stages until the 100 Zombies, Coin Hoarder, and Gold Rush trophies unlock.
You can find my review of the Sigi remaster below:
Pros:
- Fast-paced action platformer.
- Responsive controls.
- Secrets that reward exploration.
Cons:
- None.
Overall:
Sigi – A Fart for Melusina (Slightly Remastered Edition) is a retro-inspired 2D action platformer. It most closely resembles Ghosts ‘n Goblins, especially with the way the character attacks.
Fortunately, Sigi is not as hard as its inspiration. In fact, you are giving plenty of extra lives, especially if you take your time to explore the stages of hidden secrets.
Responsive controls are really important for platformers and Sigi really nails it. I didn’t notice any input large at all during my playthrough.
Overall, Sigi – A Fart for Melusina (Slightly Remastered Edition) is a very fun retro platformer with perfect controls. If you are a fan of 2D platforming games, then make sure to check out this new release.
