Dino Odyssey: Trophy Guide and Mini Review

I recently got a chance to play through Dino Odyssey on the PlayStation 5 Pro, thanks to a review copy provided by Ratalaika Games.

You can find my platinum trophy walkthrough below:

Trophy Guide and Roadmap:

To unlock all trophies, you need to beat all 50 levels. By doing so, you will get the following:

  • Egg Hunter
  • Nest Raider
  • Egg Hoarder
  • Master of Nests
  • Last One in the Nest
  • Into the Green
  • Echoes of Stone
  • Trial by Fire
  • Savior of the Species
  • The following miscellaneous trophies should also come naturally as you complete the 50 stages:
  • Mush-Bounce
  • Bubble Trouble
  • Blooded Ride
  • Center of Attention
  • Watch Your Head
  • Rock Solid

The gameplay is pretty straightforward as all you need to do if find the three eggs and then head for the exit. It is important to note, however, that you can only bounce on bubbles from the top. You can’t bounce on bubbles when you touch it from the sides or below:

You can find my impressions of this game below:

Pros:

  • Fun and addicting single screen platformer.
  • Adorable graphics.

Cons:

  • Short length with no replay value.

Overall:

Dino Odyssey is a simple single screen platformer where your goal is to find three dinosaur eggs and then head to the exit.

While the levels can end quickly, especially in the beginning, the quick pacing makes it easy to get and stay into a platforming zone. As a result, it can be quite addicting completing one level after another.

With that said, it took me around 45 minutes to beat all 50 levels in my first playthrough. There isn’t any incentive to replay the stages either.

If you don’t mind the short length, then Dino Odyssey is a fun and addicting platforming game worth checking out.
