This guide will show you how to unlock all the trophies in Blades & Battles. A review copy of this game was provided by QUByte Interactive.

Trophy Guide and Road Map:
You will need two playthroughs minimum to unlock all the trophies. For the first playthrough, play only as Arthur and then take the upper paths during the branching paths at the end of stages. For the second playthrough, play only as Lancelot and then take the lower paths during the branching paths at the end of stages. You should unlock all the boss trophies, as well as the trophies for beating the game with both playable characters.
Before starting the game, complete the tutorial to unlock the “I am ready to rumble” trophy.
As soon as the first stage starts, run over to the door and then use your Super Special by pressing R1. If you are fast enough, you should be able to kill the enemies before the gate breaks down to unlock the Before the Boom trophy.
For the I Am Hungry trophy, you need to finish a level without eating any food. The easiest way to do so is to complete the first stage in Easy Mode.
The first stage is also the easiest for The Proud trophy, which unlocks when you beat the stage without using a Super Special.
For the Combo Master trophy, you need to get a 20-hit combo. The combo meter goes up as long as you attack in succession quick enough without getting hit. The first boss is an easy target since his attacks are slow and easily dodgeable. Just make sure you get the combo before he starts summoning his minions.
For the Five for One trophy, you need to defeat 5 enemies at the same time with a Super Special. The best strategy is to play the game in Easy difficulty and then wait for a few seconds when encountering enemies to see if you get five of them on the screen. If any of them have large health bars, you can try depleting a little bit of health to make sure they die when you use your special.
To unlock the Your Floor, Sir trophy, an enemy needs to fall off the elevator during the last level. This should come naturally as you attack the enemies that ambush you during the elevator section.

Blades & Battles is a medieval beat ‘em up where you play as Arthur or Lancelot.
Along with your regular attack combos, you can also attack a desperation attack to help push back enemies when you’re surrounded or recover quickly if you get knocked down. You can also use a special attack to deal a lot of damage on all enemies that appear on the screen.
The game supports multiple branching paths to go along with three difficulty levels as well as local co-op support. So, there is plenty of replay value to offer.
Overall, Blades & Battles is a fun throwback to the simpler beat ‘em ups of the past. If you are a fan of this genre, then this is a must play.
