I recently got a chance to play around an hour of RollCats on the PlayStation 5, thanks to a review copy provided by Hoglet Interactive.

Pros:

Overall:
Rollcats is a lightning-fast arcade racer that should remind many of the Wipeout series. Instead of anti-gravity ships, you will play as one-wheeled robotic cats.
The presentation is pleasantly great as there is an incredible sense of speed. The tracks are also very distinct from each other, while also being quite lively with moving background objects. Not to mention that the background really keeps your heart pumping.
Rollcats offer five power-ups: boost, shield, blade, canon, and rocket. The boost and shield are assigned to different buttons. The three attack power-ups use the same button, and you can only carry one of them at a time.
Being able to carry a boost, shield and attack power-up weapons at the same time adds some twist strategy-wise when compared to your typical arcade racer.
Rollcats features a single-player campaign where you can unlock new tracks, characters and stat boosts. The game also offers a two-player split-screen multiplayer mode if you want to race against a friend.
If you are a fan of fast-paced arcade racers, especially F-Zero and Wipeout, then Rollcats should be right up your alley.
