Trophy Tips:
- Press the touchpad in a stage to unlock the Doctor’s Orders trophy.
- Die once to unlock the Cat-astrophe.

Pros:
- Innovative power-ups.
- Thought-provoking levels.
Cons:
- Steep learning curve.
Overall:
Nico Saves the State is a puzzle platformer where you can save and load certain elements. You can save your current position, number of keys you are holding, and momentum created by springs.
Once you save the element, you can load it in another area. For example, you can save while you are on a spring. When you jump and load the action, you should be able to perform a double jump.
There is also another power-up where you can swap positions with enemies.
You need to use all of these to get to the end of the level. Some of the stages require a lot of creative thinking as well as trial and error. Once you solve it, however, you will get an intense sense of satisfaction.
The only real issue I have is the steep learning curve. It took some time to learn the controls for the power-ups, loading and saving. Don’t be surprise if you mess up a lot in the beginning.
Once you get the hang of the game, however, you should have plenty of fun trying to get to the end of each deviously-designed level.
