Land of Mushrooms: Trophy Guide and Mini Review

I recently got a chance to play through Land of Mushrooms on the PlayStation 5 Pro, thanks to a review code provided by Source Byte.

You can find the walkthrough, along with some tips, below:

Trophy Tips:

  • At the start, just keep dropping the mushrooms in the middle of the basket to rack up points and combinations. Once the basket starts to fill to the top, you can slow down and pick where to drop your mushrooms.
  • To unlock Oyster Orchestrator, you need to combine two Oyster mushrooms, which are the ones with multiple heads. To increase your chances, avoid using the bomb on the later staged mushrooms. You should also use the rainbow mushroom on the later stage mushrooms.
  • A lot of this game is based on luck. I managed to get the platinum trophy in less than 14 minutes. Your run could be shorter or longer depending on how many bombs and mushrooms you get.

You can also find my mini-review of Land of Mushrooms below:

Pros:

  • Relaxing and satisfying puzzler.
  • Fun trophies.
  • Versus mode.

Cons:

  • None.

Overall:

Land of Mushrooms is a Suika game where your objective is to drop as many mushrooms in a basket as possible. If two of the same mushrooms touch, they will combine into a different kind of mushroom, often freeing up space in the basket.

While simple, the gameplay is quite relaxing. Not to mention that hearing and seeing the mushroom combine is quite satisfying to your senses.

Aside from the main mode, the game also offers a versus mode where you can compete against another person locally. While there are other modes available, they are locked behind DLC.

Overall, Land of Mushrooms is a fun and relaxing puzzle game with an extremely easy trophy list. If you enjoy the Suika genre, make sure to check this out.
